Holiday Inn Express & Suites Selma by IHG

My family and I stayed here over the weekend, and had a great time. There was a lot of us (maybe 25 total), and Shanika ensuring breakfast was ready and there were no complications made it special. Brandon at the front desk also was very sweet and accommodating.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Selma , Al for three days in Nov. 2025. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was exceptionally clean . The young lady, Shantel our room preparer was friendly and she went out her way to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommended the hotel. Also tell Shuntel hi. She is extremely special.

Brandon was very kind and helpful when arranging accommodations for my family to stay at this Holiday Inn location. He shared local eateries to try during our trip and mentioned other activities that we could do in and around Selma. The staff was very attentive during breakfast and they created a welcoming environment.

The Holiday Inn has been completely remodeled to include new staff. Their staff are very courteous, professional, and respectful of their guests. And their breakfast which is managed by Ms. Shanika is a must. Ms. Shanika serves up a great breakfast menu that's free with your room reservation.

The hotel was noticeably upgraded after renovation and cleaner than it'd been on my previous stays over the past couple of years. This time, it had a very pleasant smell, I didn't see paint chipping, baseboards rotting and water-warped, ladybugs crawling the walls, stains on bedding, etc. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and hot. The customer service provided b Marquisha was courteous and attentive. I was pleased and hope the location continues in this vain.

The service here is outstanding! Aaron was at the front desk and was so helpful and welcoming and made sure my stay went well without any issues. Wish more hotels had staff like Aaron! We traveled from Miami for a family reunion and our family encountered some aviation problems that subsequently resulted in long layovers. I came in and was greeted by an intelligent friendly man who was a salutatorian named Aaron. Everything was a breeze! Checked in quickly and the bed was comfy, top tier cleaning, amazing skin care products available didn't have to open my own shampoo and body lotion. The iron worked quickly. Let's talk about the breakfast, the cheese omelet and potatoes are my fav. The kitchen staff Nye and the new female staff member along with the head guy of the kitchen were so sweet and helpful with the kitchen. The other front desk member Kelsey was sweet and brought me extra towels when I called down and requested. Housekeeping was helpful with anything I needed. Pretty good deal for only $140 a night. The staff are angels. I enjoyed my family reunion despite travelling impromptus. Definitely will stay again for future vacations.

Everything was great, especially the breakfast! Shanika and Alia are excellent hostesses and the food is delicious. I’ll be back next year God willing.

We had an excellent stay here. Rooms are spotless and the staff is fantastic. Sherrel goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of have the best stay. The entire staff was so kind….Shanika had a warm breakfast and smile every morning to greet you and the front desk was so kind as well….even recommending the top barbecue place in the area….shout out to Hancocks, it was amazing! We will be back here for sure. 10/10!!!

This place has the most professional staff I’ve ever met at any hotel. I’ve been staying here two weeks working at IP and I have pretty much met every front desk member and they are the most professional I’ve ever met. And Nye is amazing. She runs the most organized perfect breakfast room I’ve ever seen. It greats everyone with a smile.
